The Heart

The prophet(S.A.W) said:"Indeed there is a piece of flesh in the body,if it is correct, the entire body is correct, and if it is bad,the entire body becomes bad.Truly it is the heart". (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Greatest Delight

Narrated Suhayb ibn Sinan ar-Rumi (radi Allahu anhu) that the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “When those deserving of Paradise enter Paradise, the Blessed and Exalted will ask: ‘Do you wish Me to give you anything more?’ They will say: ‘Have You not brightened our faces? Have You not made us enter Paradise and saved us from Fire?’ He (Allah) will then lift the veil (from their eyes), and of things given to them nothing will be dearer to them than the sight of their Lord, the Mighty and the Glorious." [Book 1: Sahih Muslim]

Pride

The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Whoever has pride in his heart equal to the weight of a mustard seed shall not enter Paradise.” Someone asked, “A person likes to wear beautiful clothes and fine shoes.” He replied, “Allah is beautiful and likes beauty. Pride means rejecting the truth and looking down on other people.” [Sahih Muslim]

It is no sin to wear beautiful things or to look good, but to have pride means to feel that one is superior to another because of the provisions that Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) has provided one with. It is Allah’s will who He decides to give what to in this world. It is not a sign of Allah’s pleasure or displeasure. The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) told us that were this world the place of reward and punishment, the Kuffar would not be given even a sip of water to drink. Complete reward and punishment are reserved for the never ending hereafter. This worldly life is in its entirety a test. And what we are provided with in terms of family, wealth, health and opportunities are part of our question papers. What we do with them is our test.

Family Day Out

One day out of the many days of life.

A man was traveling with his Wife and Kids.

On the way, he met someone standing in the roadway.

So he asked him: Who are you?

Education

The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The best gift that a father can bestow upon his son is to arrange good education and training for him.” [Mishkat]

Concentrate all your efforts to train and educate your children in piety and consider the greatest sacrifice too little to achieve this purpose. This is an obligation laid upon you by your religion, it is a favour you owe to your children, and it is the greatest good that you can do to yourself. Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) says:

What Allah Looks At

The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "Allah does not look at your appearance or property, but only at your hearts and works."

Appearance and wealth are the criteria by which Shaytaan misguides people to judge one another. Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) has altogether another set of criteria. Since Allah is the Bestower of looks and He is the one who

6. How Allah subhaanahu wa ta'aala Helps Through Those Whom We Hang Out With
A few months back, I was being overloaded with work, studies, exams and assignments, which was topped with a challenge I had never thought I would have to encounter. As much as I wanted to recite the duas for difficulty, my heart was unyielding. It sent a shiver down my spine because then, at that point of time, I realized why it wouldn’t be easy for everyone to recite the shahadah as much as they would want to, when they are on the clutches of death.

Who do you hang out with---Part1

Bismillah

Back in the days as a teenager, there were two goals I wanted to achieve: top in academics and have “cool” friends. The ones who are popular in class, the ones who would take part in all the extra curricular activities and come off as well-rounded, the ones whom others would look at in awe; not the snobbish ones though, let me clarify.

The Wife is the Neck

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “A woman is married for four things: her wealth, her family status, her beauty and her religion/piety. So you should marry the religious woman otherwise you will be a loser.” [Sahih Bukhari]

Getting the prerequisite right is an important step towards making a success

Least Punished

The Prophet (SalAllahu-alaihi-wa-sallam) said: “The least punished person of the people of Hell-Fire on the Day of Resurrection will be a man under whose arch of the feet two smouldering embers will be placed, because of which his brain will boil just like Al-Mirjal (copper vessel) or a Qum-qum (narrow-necked vessel) boils with water.” [Sahih Bukhari]

What Makes Allah Unresponsive

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “I swear by Him Who has power over my life, you must enforce virtue and curb evil, otherwise Allah shall very soon send such calamity over you that you will cry and seek mercy from Allah but you will get no response.” [Tirmidhi]

Nowadays it is not considered polite,or

Piety

The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “A man bought a piece of land from another man, and the buyer found a jar filled with gold in the land. The buyer said to the seller: ‘Take your gold, as I bought only the land from you and not the gold.’ The owner of the land said: ‘I sold you the land with everything in it.’ So both of them took.......

Lowering One's Gaze

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas (radi Allahu anhu): "Al-Fadl bin Abbas rode behind Allah's Messenger (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) as his companion rider on the back portion of his she-camel on the day of Nahr (slaughtering of sacrifice, 10th Dhul-Hijja) and Al-Fadl was a handsome man.
The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) stopped to give the people verdicts (regarding their matters). In the meantime, a beautiful woman from the tribe of Khatham came, asking the verdict of Allah's Messenger. Al-Fadl started looking at her as her beauty attracted him. The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) looked behind while Al-Fadl was looking at her;

The Story of Dajjal Must Read

Dajjal the individual will be the epitome of the Dajjal system, the ultimate kaffir, and therefore inevitably to be chosen as the leader of that system, when he appears. The letters KFR are the basic root letters of the Arabic word Kufr, or Kaffir. Kufr is to cover up and to reject. The kaffir is the one who covers up the true nature of existence - and who rejects the messengers who are sent by Allah to show people how to live in harmony with what is within in them and with what is without them, and to worship and have knowledge of Allah. The Prophet Muhammad said that kufr is one system. The Kufr system is the Dajjal. The three aspects of Dajjal are in fact interlinked and indivisible.
Dajjal will be a young man with very curly hair with one eye protruding (with which he cannot see). travelling about the world in large hops. Among other descriptions of the Dajjal in the Hadith collections we find the following:

The Ideal Muslim Husband

Most Muslim men would like to be ideal husbands. And most Muslim women would, no doubt, like to be married to one. But, for some reason, the men are not ideal husbands, and the women will almost surely admit that they didn't marry one. So, why the discrepancy between our sincere aspirations and reality? Is it an inability on the part of the man, an impossible goal; or is it perhaps that we do not even know what an ideal Muslim husband is?

Wrong Concept of an Ideal Husband

Ayat ul-Kursi after Fardh Salat

Abu Umamah (radi Allahu anhu) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, "Whoever recites Ayat ul-Kursi immediately after each prescribed Prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death." [Nasai, Ibn Hibban, Darimi]

Lying while Joking

Abdullah Ibn Amr Ibn Amr al-Aas (radhi allahu anhu) narrated that the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said: “Whoever has the following four characteristics will be a pure hypocrite; and whoever has one of these four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy unless and until he gives it up; whenever he is entrusted he betrays, whenever he speaks he tells a lie, whenever he makes a covenant he proves treacherous, and whenever he quarrels he behaves in a very imprudent, evil and insulting manner.” [Saheeh al-Bukhari]

wasallam).

Taqwa and Good conduct

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) was asked about the deed which will be foremost in causing a man to enter Jannah. He replied, “Taqwa of Allah and good conduct.” Then he was asked about the thing which will admit a man to Jahannum the most, and he answered,

Superiority of the Women of Paradise over Hoors

Umme Salamah (radi Allahu anha) narrates that she said to Prophet Muhammad (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam): "O Rasul Allah, are the women of this world superior or the hoors (of Paradise)?" He (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) replied, "The women of this world will have superiority over the hoors just as the outer lining of a garment has superiority over the inner lining." Umme Salamah (radi Allahu anha) then asked,

Breaking a Promise

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “The signs of a hypocrite are three: when he speaks he lies, when he promises he breaks it, and when entrusted he betrays his trust.” [Sahih Bukhari]

Therefore, one must be careful not to make promises casually or to make promises that one has no intention to keep. Allah Most High mentions in the Quran the story of the man who lied and broke his promise and the recompense of such people:

Three Enormities

Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “There are three types of people Allah will neither speak to on the Day of Resurrection nor purify them from sins, and they shall have a painful punishment. They are:

Shaytan an Alim without Amal

Someone came and started taking handfuls of the Sadaqah quickly. I took hold of him and said, 'By Allah, I will take you to the Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'I am needy and have many dependents.' I released him, and in the morning.....

Bells

Ibn az-Zubayr told that a woman client of theirs took az-Zubayr's daughter to Umar ibn al-Khattab wearing bells on her legs. Umar cut them off and said that he had heard the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) say: There is a devil along with each bell [Dawud :: Book 34 : Hadith 4218]

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said:

The Work of a Man's Own Hand

The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) was asked what type of earning was best, and he answered: “The work of a man’s own hand, and every pious sale.” [Hakim]

This hadith tells us that the best way to earn one’s living is to work with one’s own hands for it.

The legal basis for sale (selling things as a form of livelihood), prior to

Reliance like Birds

Umar (radi Allahu anhu) said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) say, 'If you were to rely upon Allah with the reliance He is due, you would be given provision like the birds: They go out hungry in the morning and come back with full bellies in the evening.'" [Ibn Majah - graded hasan, Tirmidhi]

The reliance of birds is that they do not store their livelihood. They have full trust that as Allah provided them with their food today, He will surely grant their food tomorrow as well.

Reliance does not mean that the lawful means of earning a livelihood
